I come from a long line of makers; artist, crafters, sewers, knitters, crocheters and musicians, so growing up I always had something in my hands to fiddle with. With an ethnic background of Irish, Kenyan, Choctaw Native American, German, and French I have many areas of inspiration from my family heritage.

In 2013 my love of fiber became ever more prevalent and in a sense I found a creative ‘home’ with this magical material.

Woven Womyn is a journey of true passion. Each piece is handmade not only hand assembled. I hope to weave together my desire for social justice, living in right relationships, fiber, farming, creating, motherhood and naturalized living. My wish for WovenWomyn is to create an organization that supports it’s community by providing ethical pieces that can be applied to your everyday.

WovenWomyn is not just about creating and crafting, it’s about how we walk through this life and affect each other.
